Matthew 21:1-11 - Jesus Enters Jerusalem - Jesmond Parish - Sermon
10 April '22 Jonathan Pryke - Jerusalem is at the centre of the old order which is soon to be swept away by Jesus. When Jesus arrives the people welcomed him with palm branches and praise as the coming Messiah, but they hadn't fully grasped what Jesus had actually come to do. On this Palm Sunday, we look into the significance of the crowd, and how quickly they changed their minds in such a short space of time. Jonathan leaves us with the question: do we fear God more than the crowd?
