Keswick '20 - Morning Programme 1

Our morning programme is streaming live daily during Virtually Keswick Convention and features Christopher Ash speaking on ‘Hope’ from the Psalms, a seminar and a short programme for adults with learning disabilities led by Count Everyone In.

In this morning’s Bible Reading, Christopher Ash, Writer-in-Residence at Tyndale House, Cambridge, will be expounding Psalm 2. Under our theme of Hope this will point us to the great hope that comes from watching Jesus, the founder and perfecter of our faith (Hebrews 12:2) as he is assured by the Father of his worldwide rule. As we hope in Jesus, we learn to take refuge in him.

Michael Reeves, President and Professor of Theology at Union School of Theology, leads today’s seminar and speaks on ‘Future Hope’. Michael looks at how the gospel gives us a glorious hope to sustain us through all the difficulties of this life. Christ will return to destroy all sin and fallenness, to wipe the tears of his people away, and to renew his creation. This session will encourage us by looking at the biblical hope of a new heavens and a new earth, and will show how that hope can transform our lives now.
