Archbishop Ben Kwashi is Gafcon’s new general secretary. Meet Ben and Gloria Kwashi.Please pray for the community around new Gafcon General Secretary elect Ben Kwashi of Jos, Nigeria, where a neighbour has been killed by cattle rustlers. Archbishop Kwashi’s neighbour Adam Dung has been shot as he disturbed rustlers stealing the Archbishop’s cattle. Archbishop Kwashi says Mr Dung, who left behind a wife and children, was 'shot through the head because he flashed his light when he heard footsteps of cattle being rustled.’ Please pray for Mr Dung’s widow and children and for Ben and Gloria Kwashi as they grieve. It was announced last month at #Gafcon2018 that Archbishop Kwashi would take over from Archbishop Peter Jensen as Gafcon’s General Secretary early next year. Ben and Gloria Kwashi are raising 50 foster children in their home in Jos. They describe some of their home life in this video interview, recorded at Gafcon in Jerusalem. Also in the interview, there is a moment where Archbishop Ben tells Gloria about a phone call the night before, asking if they could take another baby (whose mother had just been shot).
