The Bible Project: Ephesians Overview

In Acts 19, Paul came to Ephesus: the epicentre of worship for the greek and roman gods, and for two years he had a very fruitful ministry there and lots of people became followers of Jesus. Years later, after being imprisoned by the Romans, Paul wrote this letter to the Ephesus church. The letter has two very clear movements. First Paul outlines the gospel story and how all history comes to its climax in the Lord Jesus. In the second half Paul shows how the gospel should affect every area of our lives, personally and in our communities, our churches, our neighbourhoods and our families.
