The Bible Project: Acts 1-12 Overview
The book of Acts is Vol. 2 of a two-part unified work which combines with Luke's Gospel, both written by Luke, a coworker of the Apostle Paul. The book records the early days of the church after Jesus' ascension and how, still today, he leads his people by the Spirit to go out into the world and invite all nations to live under his reign. Chapters 1-12 focus on the news about Jesus spreading through Jerusalem and on into Judea and Samaria, neighbouring non-Jewish regions, where the church starts to become a multi-ethnic international movement.
