Keswick '12 - Simon Manchester 1: Crucial Answers

John 14:1-14 - Prepared For A New Day - The main talks from the Keswick Convention 2012. Sometime after the Last Supper Jesus gave His disciples some remarkable teaching on their long-term security (“I go to prepare a place for you”) and their short-term ministry (“the Holy Spirit…will teach you”).  These famous chapters from John 14–17 provide such vital information on the Scriptures and the Spirit (who will organise the whole court-case for Jesus’ mission) that we will never in this lifetime fully appreciate all that we have.  The simple thrust of these chapters is that the Father, Son and Holy Spirit are doing their work globally and brilliantly – involving us in the process to bear fruit that lasts and finally making sure that we join in the glory to come.  At every point the provision of God is more than sufficient and we will see this – God willing – with fresh joy.
